Journal of Chemistry and Environment (JCE) offered APC waivers during the 2022–2025 calendar years.

From January 2026 onward, the journal applies an APC of USD 200 (PKR 55,000 for Pakistani authors) to support peer review, editing, production, online hosting, and archiving.

Please note that the consideration of your manuscript for publication remains entirely independent of any request for fee support, discount, or waiver.

Waiver Policy

The Journal of Chemistry and Environment is committed to making academic knowledge accessible regardless of financial barriers. Authors from low- and middle-income countries (according to the World Bank classification) may apply for a full or partial waiver of the APC.

What the APC Covers

  • Waivers or discounts must be requested at the time of manuscript submission.

  • The request must be made by the corresponding author.

  • Each request is considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • The journal reserves the right to approve or decline any waiver request.
