Licensing

The published articles will be distributed under the  Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This means that all articles published with open access are immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy, and distribute according to the applied license.

Permission is required to protect the rights of the copyright holder and the author in cases of commercial use, such as sales, of material published under this license. The content may be used as a reference in scientific publications and presentations. Apart from these conditions, please obtain permissions from the editorial office for any reuse of manuscripts.

Copyright

Upon acceptance of an article, authors retain copyright and grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish it. The article is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

This license allows others to download the work and share it with others as long as they credit the authors, but they can’t change the work in any way or use it commercially.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version of their article (the Version of Record) in any institutional or subject repository (e.g., PubMed Central, Europe PMC, arXiv) and on scholarly social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu), consistent with the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND license.

Archiving digital version

The JEEE strives for the constant availability of published articles and online accessibility.

In accordance with law, digital copies of all published volumes are archived in the legal deposit library of the Keepers Registry using  PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) platform and also in the Internet Archive which is a non-profit library of millions of free books, articles, and etc. 

Self-archiving Policy

The Journal allows author(s) to deposit all versions of their paper in an institutional repository and non-commercial subject-based repositories, such as PubMed Central, Europe PMC, arXiv and other repositories, or to publish it on author's personal website and departmental website (including social networking sites, such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.).

Full bibliographic information (authors, article title, journal title, volume, issue, pages) about the original publication must be provided and links must be made to the article's DOI and the license.
